The Hokkaido Tiger Club takes inspiration from the classic Souvenir Jacket, or Sukajan, which became popular after WWII among American GIs eager to bring something home to commemorate their time overseas. The Sukajan, like any culturally significant artifact, swiftly became a fashion statement around the world, as well as a symbol of defiance among the young of the 1960s.
